FitTo Defend Martial Arts aim to provide high quality fitness training in an informal, fun style. Our instructors are MASTARR qualified and BNMAA registered, so you can be assured of the highest of standards.

We operate a not for profit organisation and recently changed our constitution to enable us to offer Martial Arts training for students under the age of 16 for FREE.

Fit To Defends instructors can also offer services for adults such as
Personal training, do you need to get into shape and lack motivation maybe we can help
Self Defence Seminars and Workshops, we can bring this to your workplace and offer basic self defence seminars. These will help build your skills and confidence if you should find your self in a situation where you need to protect yourself
Group Martial Arts,martial arts training that is fun, motivational, inspiring, confidence building and did I mention FUN!


FitTo Defend(FTD) has joined forces with The PR People and TRIKKE UK to raise the awareness of Martial Arts training and the benefits to individuals and the community as a whole by supporting children in sport. We are organizing several events this year to promote FTD and the good causes that we support including the British Institute for Brain Injured Children(BIBIC)

Friday 16th March - Red Nose Day Poole Park!
In Association with Trikke UK, FTD is pleased to announce a fund raising day in Poole Park for Comic Relief.
It will be an fun day for all riding the Trikke's, the Bouncy Castle and raising money for an excellent cause!
This is an all day event starting at 10:30am...so come along and give your support!

11th-13th May 2007 3 Peaks Walk!
The highest peaks in England (Scafell - 978m), Scotland (Ben Nevis - 1344m)and Wales (Snowdon - 1085m) pose a great challenge for anyone wishing to climb them in succession. FTD's brave team are going to attempt this in 24hours! Whilst raising money for our charity BIBIC!

2nd-25th August 2007 World First attempt John O'Groats to Lands' End on Trikke!
FTD's team will attempt this massive undertaking through the school holidays. Again we need your help with fund-raising, supplies, transport, first aid and your ongoing support!

14th Sept 2007 Fund Raising Dinner - Royal Bath Hotel
Inviting business leaders in Poole and Bournemouth to this event to raise money for FTD and to raise the profile and the benefits of Martial Arts to our community. This is also the final event for 2007 and we would like your support. Each ticket to the event is £250 which is the same as the sponsorship for a child to train, to that end if you or your business sponsors a child this year, that will entitle you to a free seat at this wonderful event.
