Business Information: The English Store
The English Store was the creation of Brian Dash and Paul Green who came up with the idea in order to promote English made products and English produced food and drink, as amazingly there were no such sites anywhere on the web.
Yet following our research with lots of people we found a genuine desire for English people to try and buy English made products rather than buy goods from other countries. They cited two main reasons; to keep English companies prosperous and English people in jobs plus to do their bit to help reduce global warming by reducing product miles. The problem they all mentioned was the difficulty of finding genuine English made goods as many so called English companies have transferred their production to Asia and eastern European countries.
