Fit To Defend(FTD) http://www.fittodefend.co.uk has joined forces with The PR People to raise the awareness of Martial Arts training and the benefits to individuals and the community as a whole by supporting children in sport. We are organizing several events this year to promote FTD and the good causes that we support including the British Institute for Brain Injured Children(BIBIC)

The fund raising day raised £541...thank you everyone for your support
But we need your help with our future events (Below) and by sponsoring our students. It costs only £250 per year to exclusively sponsor an FTD student. In return you get
* Advertising space for your business at FTD's Martial arts academy
* Advertising space in FTD's newsletter ( circulation currently 1000per month but increasing)
* A logo on the students uniform
* Link to your website from FTD's website
* A ticket to the Black Tie Ball in September at the Royal Bath Hotel in Bournemouth
* Also any monies that you donate are tax deductible, a percentage of the profits from FTD goes to BIBIC
* A child benefits from Free sport for a year all because of your generosity

11th-13th May 2007 3 Peaks Walk!
The highest peaks in England (Scafell - 978m), Scotland (Ben Nevis - 1344m)and Wales (Snowdon - 1085m) pose a great challenge for anyone wishing to climb them in succession. FTD's brave team are going to attempt this in 24hours! Whilst raising money for our charity BIBIC!

2nd-25th August 2007 World First attempt John O'Groats to Lands' End on Trikke!
FTD's team will attempt this massive undertaking through the school holidays. Again we need your help with fund-raising, supplies, transport, first aid and your ongoing support!
14th Sept 2007 Fund Raising Dinner - Royal Bath Hotel
Inviting business leaders in Poole and Bournemouth to this event to raise money for FTD and to raise the profile and the benefits of Martial Arts to our community. This is also the final event for 2007 and we would like your support. Each ticket to the event is £250 which is the same as the sponsorship for a child to train, to that end if you or your business sponsors a child this year, that will entitle you to a free seat at this wonderful event.
