I am a student and I was wondering what kind of stuff I could do online for a little extra money. I understand things like ebay would probably be the most profitable, but what else would there be to do? Thanks in advanced.

Yes, you can make money in affiliate marketing. Many people do and some people make a living from their affiliate marketing earnings.

There is a lot of very good information in internet about how to get started as well as things you shouldn't do. It will just take some time for you to do some reading, but it is very much worth the time it will take.

EBay seems a good bet, I've never been able to make any money there myself but there are always stories in the press about people leaving their full time jobs to do it.

If you have a particular interest and time on your hands this is probably worth giving a go

I think you can have a try, if you try your best, you will make a lot of money and more importantly you will have pleasure in doing business. Actually we are a company doing business on ebay for several years and there are more and more people attempting to do this, it is probably worth giving a go if you like. But you must get a idea of what products you will sell first.

The good thing about trying something like ebay is you don't have anything to lose - the initial investment in time and money is very low, so you could be pleasantly surprised...

I imagine the way you market and present your products is very important though particularly with so many people now selling online, so that you can get your material ahead of the rest.

Yes and you also would need to do it at reasonable hours, as it says if you work full time and do that job on the side it best be a night shift you normally do

If you speak another language you could try doing translation on the side, this could be a good way to earn some money.

I'm over it... I'm over the some top secret business idea approach.

I was looking at a few web sites on the weekend, and I saw a number of business ideas that were covered in terms such as… “become a distributor , enriched residual income …….. etc”…

An online business, lots of products, the business is given the task of getting people to sign up to the online business and they get their income from a % of doing just that....

Direct Sales - Lots of people know about direct marketing or MLM (multilevel marketing) its still generally considered the cheapest way to get into business, it can be a great starting point to mixing it with customers and learning about sales, check out some of the myriad available. When i was a student in college, i did tutoring as my part-time job. indeed it was really time-consuming to do time for i have to spend a lot of time on the bus just to get to my students'.

so it is a good idea to do some online job. maybe you could do online tutoring if you know some foreign language or translation if you know some foreign language. nowadays a lot people selling things on ebay so you could as well try ebay in the same time.

by the way i never shop at ebay because i am in china, haha , instead i shop at dangdang.

consult your friends,and take some action. the earlier you start, the sooner you settle down.
