I am a student and I was wondering what kind of stuff I could do online for a little extra money. I understand things like ebay would probably be the most profitable, but what else would there be to do? Thanks in advanced.

Yes, you can make money in affiliate marketing. Many people do and some people make a living from their affiliate marketing earnings.

EBay seems a good bet, I've never been able to make any money there myself but there are always stories in the press about people leaving their full time jobs to do it.

I think you can have a try, if you try your best, you will make a lot of money and more importantly you will have pleasure in doing business. Actually we are a company doing business on ebay for several years and there are more and more people attempting to do this, it is probably worth giving a go if you like. But you must get a idea of what products you will sell first.

The good thing about trying something like ebay is you don't have anything to lose - the initial investment in time and money is very low, so you could be pleasantly surprised...

Yes and you also would need to do it at reasonable hours, as it says if you work full time and do that job on the side it best be a night shift you normally do

If you speak another language you could try doing translation on the side, this could be a good way to earn some money.

The best online job for a student has to be that of an SEO expert. McDonalds has suffered a mass exodus of employees, teenagers have been hanging up their stripped aprons in an attempt to make their fortune tinkering with other peoples websites.

If you like writing, become an expert on a subject, start a blog, and write about it... and, you never know, it could be the start of a career in journalism (online or otherwise) down the line.
