Business Insurance - Costs...

Hi all

Just wondering what sort of costs are involved with basic business liability insurance - how much would you be looking to pay per month for cover of say £250,000?

Thanks

Tim

Not entirely sure, but I would imagine in the region of £500 - £1000 per annum: of that sort of order anyhow.

There are lots of firms that offer business insurance quotes for free online just by filling in their forms - just search for business insurance and you should find lots of companies come up, so just fill in a few of their forms to get quotes.

As John says, there is a banner for coverzones on here (top right, refresh a few times to see it on rotation)

Firstly what sort of business insurance are you referring to? If public liability, £250,000 is totally inadequate - we recommend a minimum of £2million.
Have a look at our 24/7 quote facility online www.knightsure.co.uk where quotes for a wide variety of policies are available.

Interested to hear why £250,000 is totally inadequate: it is what I was recommended as a one-man band?

Sounds reasonable to me Tim, but then I don't know anything about business insurance so that's not much of a guide

I don't know anything about this (usual disclaimer) BUT I imagine the idea is that the costs are so extortionate if there is a claim made that £250k would probably just scratch the surface of the costs. Just guessing!
