Business liability insurance...

Just been reading about the different forms of insurance out there for businesses, and came across this one.

Not quite sure what it is and therefore wondered if anyone could shed some light on business liability insurance, and what sort of businesses use it etc?

Business Liability insurance can cover a multitude of things. Depending on the actual package it could deal with employees causing damage to customer’s property or the company being used due to a malfunction of one of its products.

Generally businesses which have some level of exposure to claims have the cover and in some cases, such as with accountants and solicitors, it is a mandatory requirement. Only they call it professional indemnity insurance.
