Business Video Advice...

Just thought i'd put this out there, not sure it will be of use to anyone. I've just been on a site called Guru Online and they have video advice for businesses on all kind of topics (i was looking for cloud computing info). Worth a look i'd say if you're in the market for some it advice

Google are bringing out an excellent new Operating System either later this year or early next year if they hit their targets. Google Chrome OS - http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/introducing-google-chrome-os.html

The idea is that it boots quicker than any other O/S so no more idle times waiting for your O/S to start-up and instead of storing information locally everything will be stored on the cloud as well as web applications being used instead of local apps, i.e. Google Docs instead of MS Office, Picassa for photo storage instead of /My Pictures on local hard drive. Etc. All of this of course frees up your system resources to keep a smooth running system and most importantly for me means secure storage of my documents without any need for backing up.

Of course it could be a complete flop but it's something I am going to attempt to migrate too when it launches :-)

For business and "some" personal usage this sounds excellent to me
