Why are shops on line so bad?
Have any of you needed to buy an item of late like a Samsung TV Wireless dongal by any chance? or maybe another item that you thought you would buy from an on line department? you have? well then you will know what a mess the internet shops do of this task.
I wanted one of these TV components today, I typed in the item on my Firefox webpage, wow great it found 6 or more shops had one for sale, wow I thought lets see where the shops are.
I hit the shops could'nt see a phone number (I like to know who I give my card details too) o heck, no phone number, and o no to look at the item I want I have got to start an account, put e mail adrs and password in, hey up I cannot see any reason for that.
I went to Amazon, ho no again before I am allowed to buy I have to have an account even if it's not in stock, this is crazy I thought and left.
The shops that did show a tel number to call were 0845 or 0870, ( you cannot call them on your mobile even if you get 10 hours a month free calls can you? so again I left those web shops.
Why do people take all that time and expence to put a e commerce shop on the internet and then try to deter so many of us from doing business with them.
In the end I gave up shopping on the net, and bought a copy of a TV/Video equipment mag from the paper shop and within seconds I got my item on order from an 0800 free number shop.
Come on internet shop owners, do you really wish to sell, or are you just having a shop to keep yourself happy playing with it and pretending to use the basket.
