We have just carried out our first 2011 survey and what a strange amount of things we have found from it too.
The first is that do you know that Internet use fall from 4pm Friday to 9AM Mondays by 80% of use, this is telling us that websites are faster at weekends because so very few use them.
Internet forums viewing falls at the weekend by 95%, see how many posts your forum gets at the weekend from weekday messages, you will be shocked, weekends you can get less than 8 messages posted on a forum, down from around 40 per day on weekdays.
So what is this telling us ?
First it tells us that most internet use in the UK at least in within work time and School times only.
E Commerce sales we found are 70% lower after Friday till about Tuesday.
So all in all it seems that Internet use in the home is falling off fast, and this may be the reason websites mostly fall over from Tuesday to Friday midday as they are used more then than any other time.
E mails inc spam fall to your mail box after Friday at 2pm by 90% this shows that they are only sent from business computers, not from homes.
