Getting harder to do business in UK...

Has anyone ever tried of late to but or even ask a question about any product they want to buy? well of late I have found just how hard it is to do just that, yes ask and then maybe buy.
I wanted a Laser printer, so I looked round 3 towns, only 1 shop in 12 office supply shops sold Laser, only 1 model to choose from, big problem, lets try the internet I said.
We put the PC on and find 2 printers that would suit our needs, they showed pictures and details of machine (only basic details) lets call them and ask things, ops, how can you do that? no e mail adrs, no phone numbers either.
What on earth is the use of having a nice looking website if your selling, and you prefer not to put contact details on it?
We looked round lots of sites, only 2 in 100 sites did show a phone number.
If your website is not working for you, maybe it would be a good idea to include your number, make it easy for you and your members of the public to buy from you.

Haha, very good point!

I too don't understand websites that are trying to SELL you products not wanting to be contacted.

In general websites are appalling at letting you contact them.

I have been driven insane the last few days trying to unsubscribe from the mailing list of a website that I don't think I never signed up for.

Everytime I enter the email address in their unsubscribe form it tells me that I can't unsubscribe! And each time I email them after finally finding the contaact link buried deep within their site, I get a reply telling me to use the link that they know won't work, so in other words I can't unsubscribe.

So basically I've wasted an hour trying to do the most trivial thing... now I have had to ask for the name of the owner of the site to complain about it, which I guess means I will never heard back now and will be bombarded with emails from them forever... joy!
