Getting help from the banks in the current environment...

Day in day out I read about how the banks are doing nothing to help and support good quality small businesses, and government ministers bleating about how they are trying to improve things.

So I thought it might be a positive step to find out whether anyone here HAS managed to get support from a bank, what the bank was and what support they got - and any tips they have for others in order to try and get some help in these hard times?

Banks... support... err that would be a no!

I don't think the banks are interested in small businesses that could actually make them money, but only a little bit.

No matter what they say they are addicted to gambles and would much rather pay attention to companies that will either make them an awful lot or lose them an awful lot. Did anyone see the report recently that said bankers lose or destroy £7 of value for every £1 that they destroy? Nice!
