Hi,

Can anyone recomend any good PR sites to post articles related to business on? I'm currently using PRlog and Pressbox and have posted one article to this site but not sure if there are others I should be looking at to gain maximum exposure.

Thanks in advance

What is the purpose of PR sites?

The purpose of PR sites is that - in theory - if you are very lucky, you can write a press release and get it picked up by newspapers or similar and therefore get free publicity for your business as a result.

The question is... are there any good PR stories on the PR sites themselves

I can't speak for every PR site. However a release I submitted in September on PRWeb.com has been read thousands of times, and still is continually being put up on related blogs even to today. I think it depends on the content and the writer. Either way If you write a good article, which is truly helpful placing it on PR sites is a excellent way to get it exposure, then from their it's down to your target audience to decide if it's worth reading and mentioning.

I see the Press Release section here now posts to twitter, and you can also pay to have links in the body of your press release...

Yes feel free to post your press releases on this site for free, or with multiple links for a small price.

Try PRFire - these guys are excellent and have a really strong journalist / publisher following so the chances of appearing on higher profile websites is enhanced.

You can find them here:

The homepage of that PR site is only 1/10... don't PR directories need really high page ranks to be useful to be listed in?
