Has Gordon Brown ruined your small business?...

With so much negative press for the Great Leader in recent months, and the fact that small businesses seem to be so much worse off than they were before his period of power, I wondered if the changes his government have made (either now or when he was Chancellor) have had a noticeable affect on your actual small business?

Have they ruined things - if so how - or have they (shock horror) actually improved things, contrary to popular belief?

It would be interesting to hear some actual facts from real small businesses!

I cannot say there is so direct a link. I believe that Gordon Brown has done no better or worse than his predecessors, except for being imprudent with government borrowing,and increasing the tax burden beyond what is desirable. The first is more serious than the last.

However, the undermining of a manufacturing and raw materials bedrock for wealth generation was done before he got there.

So....I guess...I am neutral on the subject. I pay more tax than I believe reasonable, but I am able to sustain business successfully.
