How NOT to run a website: Thomas Cook website errors...

This is absolutely unbelievable and worth sharing since we are talking about a major major company here.

They emailed me about three - four weeks ago to book airline seats (extra cost) for a flight.

Now, every day for the last 3 - 4 weeks I've tried logging into the seat upgrade facility where you book all the extras.

And EVERY SINGLE TIME doing so results in an error. If you email Thomas Cook they come back eventually and say they are working on it and the site is experiencing errors. For a few hours fine, but for three - four weeks??? It doesn't actually give you confidence!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Still no response to my follow up emails... dreadful customer service.

That does sound bad Tim. I believe that the budget airlines overbook seats so hopefully you can get it sorted!

Final piece of amusement - it DOESN'T LET you book an aisle and middle seat next to each other, almost certainly the most popular combination.

The level of incompetence in that decision is so breathtaking it makes my head spin with dizziness.

This is not uncommon - it amazes me to see that such large companies have websites that dont function and are often also full of dead links.
