My name is kim, and I currently own a business called Cheap Ink which sells printer cartridges. I am currently trying to figure out how i might use the internet to my advantage. Do you have any suggestions?
I am also wondering how internet networking works and if it works.

Employ an expert, a good idea to do this before you have a website built as most of the mistakes are made during the build process.

I agree with Pete in that you should get your site optimised whilst it is being built rather than trying to optimise it afterwards. Also, be aware that it is a very competitive market for selling printer cartridges online so you will have a lot of competition.

My signature links are a few of the clients I work for, with one of the links being my own. I should really add some more, the trouble is the site owner is a good friend of mine and I do not want to be seen to taking advantage.

Hyperlinks in body of posts (anchor text) is a good idea, however with all these things the arse has been kicked out of it in the past so there is less benefit than previously.

We see website covered in anchor text, this was not done to benefit the visitors experience as it makes websites confusing, in the end Google took some action.

You have to be clever with SEO, be subtle and put visitors first, this is highlighted perfectly in website copy, billions of web pages have been written to please search engines, the result being they are almost illegible.

People will always try shortcuts, tricks etc, the truth is the whole process is common sense mixed with tons of hard work. The Internet is not a platform for business, but a global community that allows businesses to prosper, understand that and you will start getting in the right mind set
