Is a Dragon from the Den worth Ł150000?...

Did anyone see the dragons den today and how the guy at the end gave away 30% of his company for two dragons to work with him, giving him Ł150k investment... and guaranteeing that they could have their money back?

It was very strange indeed - why didn't he just approach them outside of the show if he really wanted them to help out so much and just pay them as consultants for the odd days work here and there, it really seemed weird and didn't make much sense. Would be very interesting to find out what happened after the show

It was all very weird... if that guys judgement is what you need to run a business that makes hundreds of thousands a years then no wonder I have no chance He also seemed a little nervous as a presenter for someone who runs a company that does so well, just goes to show that it takes all sorts as they say!!! Did anyone see the Christmas special last night? I missed it but I'm sure it'll be repeated... just wondered if it was any good or not! Tim

Didn't see the Christmas special either, Tim, but from the review in the paper I think it was mainly rehashes of existing material with the occasional few extra bits and funny comments, so I don't think you would have missed too much. __________________ Web Design

The Christmas special was alright, but not quite as funny as perhaps it should have been given the non-stop adverts that BBC2 had running for it in the couple of weeks before the show... Sasha

Then again perhaps taking the wider picture the exposure it gained him and the company was priceless, not to mention the additional contacts those dragons brought in to the business for him...
