Jobs in grave danger....

The UK Government are yet again having a good go at putting 1000's of UK workers on to the benefit systems.
They want to shut down anyone who runs a health shop or health practice that is not under the N H S and prevent them from earning a living.
Already since 2006 the UK has lost 2.3 million jobs because of Labour Law legislations, yet they waste 3 billion bound per month training people to find work in jobs the Government have damaged.
Now we have lost the UK steal firm Corus that bought British Steal just a few months ago with over 6000 jobs alone.
The true figure of people without jobs in the UK is now 6.8 million, though Gordon Browns figure is only 1,9 million.
You wouldn't think it is a good time now to close over 92,000 jobs of people who work in private health care would you? yet sadly he is.
All I can say is that Alternative4u will not go along with this new rule he wants, we will fight it all the way, we think many others who try to work in the UK will fight too.

Hi David

Good for you, fight it all the way!

Is there anyone in this country who isn't fed up with the governments meddling? They have systematically ruined and killed off the aspirations of anyone who actually wants to earn a living in this country.

Then they go on about the lack of aspirations and trying to get people into work. Ha! It's actually a cracking scam on behalf of the government: they want to remove any incentives to work so that everyone is on benefits, is dependent on the government, and therefore votes for them no matter what they do.

If you don't work in the public sector or are on benefits then the government doesn't want to know. They view private sector companies, whether small businesses, medium or large, as vehicles that are good for nothing other than extracting as much tax as they can from them: that's once they've spent all their time with the paperwork, rules, regulations, whilst of course those that want to flagrantly break the rules (close their company, start up again the next day without debts under a different name etc) get away with it whilst those who underpay their tax by 1 pence get letters threatening them with extortionate fines unless they pay by yesterday with a whopping fee.

Hi there,
I am so pleased that you too see it that British workers are not seen as friends by UK Governments, just this week after the Government brought new rules in for Hotels that are not good laws we have been told 47 big hotels in East Anglia are to close, it does look very much like as you say that they want all working age people on benefits.
This stupid rule that Harriet Harman wants to have where firms have to let men and women take a year off with pay for sick relations, babys, etc means that most firms wont take women on.
If anyone takes a year off work, that firm still needs that job to be done, but why should they employ 2 people to do one job?

The problem is they are all clueless. They are either career politicians that come through the civil service, and have no conception of the real world, or were lawyers, again having no conception of the real world.

Until MPs are forced to do a minimum of five years work in an ordinary office environment in a "normal" career so they understand the actual pressures of business then they will continue to make stupid decisions, create stupid laws and generally make Britain as uncompetitive in the world as it now is.
