Marketing Strategies...

Hello,
I'm building a web development business plan and I'm starting to think about the marketing it. That is, in order to get my business up and running, I'm going to have to market myself. So I've got questions:

What kind of agencies should I be looking for?
What's the most cost effective way to marketing myself?
How can I research marketing agents to see who's got the best success records?
Does anybody have any good answers to these questions, or just addition advice?

Your question is very confusing because you say you want to market yourself but want to look for an agency. My sincere advice is to take help from wantedprontothe single source to provide you all support.
Hope this helps.

You don't need agencies in order to market yourself or your business, particularly with web design.

My advice would be to work hard to build an impressive portfolio, this may mean that you need to do some work a little cheaper at the start just to set the ball rolling before you increase to your full price when you have a portfolio to show potential clients and therefore they would be more comfortable giving you work at full price as they are more comfortable that you can deliver.

Hope this helps and good luck; do you have a web site yet?

Tim

Yes this is quite a confusing question - using an agency and writing a business plan are surely two unrelated activities?
