Microsoft To Offer Free Anti-Virus Software...

Microsoft has announced a free anti-malware solution (anti-virus) software for consumers, dubbed Morro, available second half of 2009 and will provide comprehensive protection from malware including viruses, spyware, rootkits and trojans.

As pleased as I am to see that Microsoft is finally changing their approach to antivirus software by making their offerings free to Windows users, their previous attempts at antivirus and antispyware software have not received the highest ratings by reviewers. However I would like to see how this turns out in the long run.
