Hi

Would welcome comments/feedback on my website - www.spottiedottie-petshop.co.uk. I am a new business and started trading in October 07. Things are going well and I was very busy leading up to Christmas. Went quiet immediately after Christmas and into the New Year but starting to pick up again.

This is my first business venture so everything is a steep learning curve.

Nice looking site, and well done on getting business so soon after starting trading... did you advertise or did the traffic come from search engines?

If most of your pages are already indexed in search engines then well done, if not (check with the site:domain name query) then it will probably help to rewrite those very long and awkward domain names into something more manageable and easier for both human and search engine visitors.

I like the graphics and layout, nice colour choice and appears warm and friendly to the eye.

I'm also impressed that you managed to get so busy so quickly.

My main tip is to analyse the statistics you get and work out what is working well and what is not working so well on the back of them - for instance if you see the main searches bringing traffic to your site are not those you expected, then work on building traffic for those search terms too, and perhaps vice versa too.

Information is your friend and with growing a website, there is a lot of information out there!

A nice little site... perhaps make the 'add to basket' buttons a bit bigger and more prominent, took me a while to find them. Well done! Chris
