New website...

Whoa, that site definitely needs some code error checking: 44 errors!

Edit: that link didn't seem to work right, anyway put it through the W3C validator to see all the errors.

Hi Catherine

The left hand menu isn't working correctly... it jumps all over the place on my browser and seemingly randomly bits of information appear when you roll over some links... for instance on rolling over internet business text comes up that is full of strange at symbols, £ signs and then TM symbols!

Apart from the fact the left hand nav is making the site unnavigable here at least I think it needs a background colour or shade to help distinguish it from the main content area of the page.

I also find the banners above the logo a bit distracting - perhaps they could be incorporated somewhere on the content area of the page. Clicking the 'events' link from the top menu doesn't do anything.

Hope this feedback is useful rather than negative sounding, trying to offer constructive points that will make the site notably better

Hi Catherine,

First of all, best of luck with your new site. The site should be even better after some of the changes suggested so far are implemented.

I found the home page to be very large at 432.62Kb which includes a 106.28Kb image. You should look at shrinking these down so that the page loads in a reasonable time with slower connections.

Description and Keyword Meta tags would also help your potential audience to find you.
