Offering a pension scheme to employees...

Just a quick one - does anyone know how many employees you need to have before you have to offer them some sort of pension scheme?

I have a vague figure in my head of five employees however I'm not too sure about this... if anyone can help that would be useful!

Note that you should assign a few hours to going through and digesting the various information here; unfortunately with this sort of thing a quick scan will not really suffice!

I have also heard the figure of five for when you do have to offer some sort of pension scheme as an employer, but also not too sure of this.
