The role
X152 14MYProgramme Management - Project Planner. Reporting to the Project Manager on X152 14MY. Key Responsibilities include the management of issues, driving of issue resolution and tracking of the correct geometry in conjunction with cost reduction activities in support of virtual series. The facilitation and progression of prototype and production component and tooling engineering releases (T and P releases) and the tracking of component maturity through quality maturation loops in support of engineering and manufacturing validation.
Skills Required: Project Planning and Control skills are essential.
Skills Preferred: Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high-pressure environment, being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision. An ability to assist in the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment. An ability to evaluate the progress of Quality, Cost, Functional and Timing status for all engineering areas.
Experience
Experience Required: Previous experience within Core Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Launch experience are desirable as is a good knowledge of product development processes. Experience of project or supplier management, meeting demanding timescales, budget control and cost-effective delivery.
Education Required: Be qualified to HND/degree level
