Quality of journalism - Daily Telegraph...

I know all newspapers are full of mistakes these days, but it seems that no-one grammar checks anything, or worse - checks their facts.

Typical examples today in the Telegraph - the main tennis writer has a sentence in his article that makes no sense at all.

The chief sports writer, no less, tells us that Murray was a game away from losing the match in his first round game against Kendrick. Really? That must be news to everyone on court who saw Murray lose one set, not two sets and be one game away from losing which would have had to be the case for that to be true.

What do you think about the standards of journalism - they just seem to be falling, falling, falling in my opinion!
