Self employed versus running a limited company...

Another of the key decisions that those starting a business have to make is with regard to whether to run as a limited company or rather to be self employed or of course a sole trader.

This question must come up time and time again each year, so what are the sorts of considerations that should be taken into account to enable someone to choose which right to go down as being best for them?

Is it to do with whether they will be working with others, how much they think they will be turning over, or is rather down to completely different considerations.

What made you choose to go down the route you did and has it been advantageous from a financial point of view and indeed from a business point of view?
