Shop Factory hurts it...

Just 18 months ago we upgraded our Shop factory ver 6pro to Ver 7 at a very costly price indeed.
However just 18 months later we are told that Ver 8 is out, and we should maybe think of buying that because they may soon turn Ver 5 & 6 and soon 7 versions off, which will put a lot of firms out of business who rely on it.
I have spoken to SF since this posting on here, and they are listening to my own and others concerns.

No they just knock about 20% off the cost

I rang yesterday to see as seeing I am an old user of Shopfactory for a good discount, they have not bothered to reply to my request, but a reseller in the UK said he could let me have 20% off the cost of upgrade.
However after talking to people on the phone about V 8 they have told me it is not a good upgrade, and people are much better staying with V6 or V8, as they can have more than 1 shop, ver 8 allows just 1 URL per owner.
