If you're looking to minimize your costs why not try Virtual meetings?

Here's three ways-
Instant Messaging (i.e. Yuuguu)
Virtual Worlds (i.e. Second Life)
Social networks (i.e. Facebook)

All are fun and innovative ways of doing business!

Good idea.

It always bemuses me why even with technology so many people still insist in face to face meetings. Flying across the world for a few hour meeting costing thousands in time and also polluting the world in process when video conferencing will do the job in most cases is stupid.

Sure face to face is the most effective, but when do we need the extra impact of face to face over telephone or videoconferencing? Well rarely is the answer, but people are set in their ways so it seems to be the case that it will continue for the foreseeable future... silly really

Agree completely - I find it odd why even technology companies that are supposed to embrace new technology still seem very prepared (Even in credit crunch times) to spend thousands sending people around the world for meetings etc that could often be done without too much hassle remotely using such software as this. Odd!
