Any recommendations for good, reliable US hosting - must be on US servers not UK at client request.

Sorry I can't help Tim - but just wondering why someone would want the site to be hosted in a particular country... would it help rankings for the site in that country for instance?

Simply because it is a US customer therefore want to pay in dollars and have it hosted there, also I believe sites on US servers will perform well on searches from google.com or conversely won't do as well on a region specific page as pages from that country.

Try hostgator - tends to get good feedback and is attractively priced with good facilities built in to most packages, also live customer service online which is useful.

I have a hosting account with hostgator and it's really good so far - excellent customer service, good pricing, quick and easy to set up with everything you need... highly recommended.

Their servers are based in America, their prices are cheap, their uptime is fantastic, their..... What can I say, they are fantastic.

I have a dedicated server with them and after having dedicateds at fasthosts and 123reg which are both huge companies, I would never go back..

Cant say more to praise them. Go with globalcon ;-)
