We are in for a bumpy ride for a few years....

Well as Laurel & Hardy once said before I was born, that's another fine mess you have got us in>>> sadly once again the UK Government has done it again, as by printing money like they are to do is going to put inflation up by May this year to about 40%, why do I say that? well if you start printing money, money will start to buy less for the £ then people who still may have a job will start to want more wages to buy food with, Electric etc, if they do not get extra money we get a thing called strikes, once we get strikes you will very soon start to see riots and unrest in our streets, once un-rest starts you start to see a nasty world leader arise, once you see that leader you start to see war loom because people start to feel fear, and before you know where you are your all in the _ _ _ _, o yes I heard a world leader on TV today at 7AM say the world is in 1939 all over again>>> o yes what happened then?
Who says history do not repeat it's self?

I briefly saw the 'printing money' report on TV today as well, but never thought of it as explained above.

I don't think it is going to come to this or at least I hope we're not stupid enough to let it.

It's true, everything Gordon Brown touches turns to... well, something brown, and I don't mean chocolate.

No-one will be able to retire in the future, in the past this used to be because he has destroyed pensions; now it is because his mismanagement of the whole economy means no-one will actually have a job to retire from!

We live in a democracy? What a joke. No-one voted for Brown as prime minister, the person with one of the most important jobs (Mandelson) is unelected, and the whole country is going down the swanny. Just look at the international view on Britain - they can't dump their pounds quick enough, turning to the US for comfort even though it's also in dire economic circumstances.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear...

Hello Tim,
It's quite right what you say about that clown in Number 10, we put Blair in, just months before Brown pushed him out, it was the only way Brown would ever get in number 10, because not many like Brown, even his own staff say he is rubbish.
I like the way he tells people who have sadly lost jobs that they need to retrain to get new skills>> like Brown did he means yes? odd because I cannot remember him doing it to become PM can you?
Then he wastes millions on training out of work people to get jobs, what jobs? the money would be better spent on giving people money to buy food with.
These stupid training centres cost every tax payer £300 per week to operate, they get 1 person in every 600 a job, heck that is a costly new job that, and remember that 1 person may have secured that job without spending money at all.

I read an article that I don't actually think was being ironic - it said Labour's whole strategy for re-election is to end up having everyone employed by the state so that they vote for them to save their cushy pensions etc... I have a feeling I have read before that under Labour almost half of people with jobs now work for the goverment!

I blogged on this same topic quite some time ago.
It may be of interest for some to have a look at

A bit of a rant, but it helps purge the soul every now and again.

Rants are definitely cathartic from time to time

We're all doomed captain Mainwaring... we're all doomed.

Comforting to know that Gordon Brown has caught 'Blair-itis' and would rather be anywhere than the UK at the moment for obvious reasons, doing his little bit for global warming in the process too.
