Website not performing? It's too late for SEO!...

As someone who used to do SEO I have long pondered the idea that prevention is better than cure in the world of websites.

What I mean is that once you have built the website and it is failing, it is generally too late to be totally effective.

That's because the website domain, it's URL itself, and the keywords and breakdown of each and every page is the fundamental element of having a well performing site. Now most SEOs have to come in after the site is built and work with what they have, whilst usually a start-again approach would be truly best but is unacceptable for most owners.

The moral of the story is - if you are thinking of launching a site, then get the input of someone who knows about SEO BEFORE you start the site, rather than once it is built. They can feed in things like the best keywords for you to target which will influence every part of your site: url, name, pages, menu, navigation and more.

I have a website seo company who work on all my websites. They are very good, and have got me very good results on Google and the other search engines. Their details are below if your interested. My site was failing when I was with another company, then I went to them, and they turned it around. I think it took about 2 months for them to get me from page 8 on Google to page 1.

there website is http://www.seopositive.com
I dealt with a guy called Ben on 08709777888.

I would recommend them to anyone. Hope this helps with your website.

I agree with Tim. It is definitely best to seek advice before the site is built, but the biggest problem with SME's in the UK is that the majority, still don't even use the internet so things like SEO mean nothng to them!

I sell web design/optimisation for a very reputable company & the amount of customers who can't see the benefit of being on the 1st page of google (this when they are already there) & developing their site for potential customer's properly, is unbelievable.

UK SME's need to get with the times & understand the importance of the internet & then the rest will follow!
