What is a reasonable price to pay for printing?...

Hi

I need to get some posters created: probably A2 size, nothing too sophisticated but they need to be good quality, colour ones.

Can anyone give me ballpark prices for printing at quantities of:
1,000
2,000
10,000

Afraid I can't tell you exactly, but I've found the simplest way is to phone round a few local companies from the yellow pages.

You should find that the prices vary quite significantly which is interesting - it doesn't seem massively price sensitive.

If you are unsure about who to go with, and have a bit of time, go and see a couple in person and whichever one seems the most friendly and knowledgeable - if the pricing is OK - should be the one to go with!

I found the cheapest is not necessarily the best, there are some good providers knocking around the small business forums.

The only problem with these card printing companies is once you're on their lists they send you huge numbers of emails all the time.

For instance vistaprint seem to email you virtually every day with some free offer or 'apology offer' or other fairly transparent scheme.
