I want to do a local e-mail marketing campaign but I'm not sure where to get local business listings from - any ideas?

Hi Lynn

It can be expensive, but you could try Dunn and Bradstreet lists - you can drill into their data in great detail: region, turnover, type of business and much, much more besides...

Maybe your local business link could help or at least point you in the right direction, I've always found them really helpful.

If you don't mind doing a little research rather than have a ready made list you could try one of the many online business finder services, e.g.
http://www.ufindus.com

Obviously the benefit is it is free and the downside is it can take a lot longer to get the data you want... (Edit: just noticed that site doesn't seem to have email addresses so would be even slower, clicking through to their websites...)

Hi Lynn, Not sure whether you have this sorted already? I know for sure that Business Link in Burgess Hill have a lot of information about local business. Please contact Stephan Grazebrook at Business Intelligence Team Tel: 0845 036 0144 or stephan.grazebrook@businesslinksussex.co.uk
