Your Business Strategy for 2008...

With 2008 just around the corner, have you come up with your strategy for next year?

I would encourage everyone to set aside at least half a day to ponder and come up with their strategy for next year.

There are all sorts of targets you can set, and working through them will help you set your direction and keep your focus.

Here are some questions:

- what do I want my revenue to be next year?
- how many more staff do I think I will need to employ next year?
- what products should I add / remove next year?
- are there any areas I want to diversify into?
- how much money should I assign to marketing?
- what marketing do I want to do next year?
- what would I list as my four or five key goals for 2008?

I often start with the bottom one and work backwards.

Hope this is of some use to you with your planning for next year...

Chris

I think my main target is actually going to be around work/life balance... maybe less working on the weekend

Sasha

By the way this is a really good list Chris and I'm certainly going to think of the answers for each!

2008???????????

actually everybody in china are becoming extremely excited about the coming year for the olympic game is going to be held in beijing. and a lot of businessmen think there will be great opportunities to make money.

however, i don't really have any new strategy for the nexe year for i have to stick to what i am doing , that is to promote international sales. in other words, look for more new clients and keep in touch with the old.

wish me luck.

i hope everybody will have a successful career and getting progress next year.

The Olympics... well I guess we will have the same thing when it comes to London in 2012.

No doubt there will be lots of people making money from the Olympics, do you have any ideas yourself as to how you could make money from it Fantasylane?

Working on a Sunday... perhaps I've not yet met my target, but then it is only six days into the year
