Well....it depends on what your attitude was before!

However, it is useful to spend some time planning how you will manage yourself through the more disappointing bits, how you will cope with the lack of support infrastructure a small business has.

Lots of new ventures fail. But, lots dont. Plan. And include in your planning, how you will be, mentally, in your new situation.

As Paul says - it really depends what your attitude and mindset were before you started.

However it is certainly true that many business owners find that by running their business their mindset and attitudes do change, in conjunction with what they learn and experience through running the business. But determination, clarity of vision and passion, coupled with great knowledge of your product are always essential.
