Way to make money online...

Hello..
There have been a lot of discussion about making money online programmes. Can some one tell me if something really works (please don’t tell me just because you want me to be your referral). Can some one please tell me the way to make money online ?? coz I need money

Hi there

There are many ways to make money online, but most come down to two things:

1) hard work
2) lots of traffic

If you are prepared to but in 1) to build 2) then many schemes will work - for instance you could sell products that fit in with the theme of your site and get a % fee each time. The more traffic you have the more you get. If you have 1000+ visits per day to your site, then you can make a nice sum each month through one of any number of affiliate schemes.

There are many ways to make money online - there are the pyramid schemes/ multi-level marketing which vary greatly between those where you sell a physical product to those where all you are selling is actually being a seller for the scheme. Whilst some would have ethical issues with pyramid schemes they can ultimately work if you are good at them.

Aside from that you have the option of setting up an information site that is either free or requires paid membership to view all and then carries advertisement

Set up some form of service (eg a directory) and charge for its use

Set up an ecommerce site using drop shipping suppliers.

What ever you decide to do you have to remember it takes a hell of a lot of work. You cannot just install a free directory script and expect the money to start rolling in... you have to fight to get your site anywhere decently ranked in the 690 million sites that google has listed under directory

It is possible to make money online but it takes time to find out where the real money is. You should hit the booming travel industry today. It’s a 7 Trillion Dollar Travel Industry (you've probably heard people spend more time planning their yearly vacations than they do their retirement). I would always recommend steering clear of pyramid schemes. even if you hit a miracle scheme that works for you and makes you money (about as likely as winning the lottery but technically possible) there is no satisfaction in making money this way as you know that those further down the chain will get burnt. Try and come up with something of your own that you can therefore take satisfaction in when it works perhaps an ecommerce store or similar along the lines as mentioned by Astaroth above...

I agree that directories can work, however they are very hard work. My business directory is now doing well www.businessservicesuk.com/newdirectory.php I also agree they are hard work.

Seriously though, just shows that the IT market seems to be way over populated at the moment... or at least they are all online and registering with directories!

Interesting stuff about directories. I do wonder how people make money from these directories - with so many out there do any but the biggest and best actually succeed in getting people to pay for listings; I suspect that everyone just gets free listings unless someone knows otherwise?

Have you got a hobby or niche interest? If you are going to work mail order then the products will need to be small and light. Easy to store and cheap to post. It is probably best to start with something you know.
