The Performing Rights Society (UK) is currently cracking down hard on UK businesses. The PRS represent the songwriters out there; and right now, with the advent of digital downloading and massive music piracy, those songwriters are suffering. The PRS intend to do something about it. | |

It's a very interesting area I've read quite a bit about... I think gradually companies are realising they will lose this fight and are therefore looking to embrace the changes and try to adapt their business models to still make money in the new world, rather than trying to fight it absolutely with copyright protection and so on...
