Twitter...

Does anyone here use Twitter and if so how do you find it?

I've seen quite a few posts about it recently and from what I can tell, it's simply an online tool where you give short updates about what you're doing and where you are... essentially like the 'status' feature you see on lots of sites (including these forums) but that feature is the entire focus of the site, and other users can subscribe to your feed.

I'd be interested to hear what your experience of Twitter is...

Yes I use it all the time, very useful for keeping up to date with what people are up to!

Why is everyone obsessed with telling everyone else what they're up to in the modern world, I bet most people don't care about their friends that much that they need to know what they are up to every waking hour

Never heard of it... my first impression was 'not another site to waste time on looking into!' there are sooo many of these sites out there that everyone says you 'should' be on!

Lianne - I tend to agree with the sentiment, but the only answer seems to be that enough people care and are interested in this sort of thing to make these sites both extremely popular and very successful too!

Twitter is very useful all you have to do is to update what the user doing that time and that day..
