Develop Your Career: CV, Interviews and Earning More

When you are on the corporate treadmill it can be hard to take time to stop and evaluate your career. Are you where you wanted to be now? Are you doing what you want to do? Are you being paid and earning what you wanted to earn?

These can be uncomfortable questions to answer honestly, but they are essential if we are to enjoy our career and get the most out of it, both in terms of personal goals, a feeling of satisfaction and financial reward.

It can be hard to commit time to reviewing our career to date, updating our CVs and ensuring we are eminently employable when we choose to move on, or should we be made redundant.

It is a shocking fact that the majority of people in full time employment do not keep a record of their achievements and do not update their CV on a regular basis. Therefore they only put time and effort in when they are least well placed to do so - when looking for a job. Reviewing and updating your CV whilst employed is very important - not only are you able to remember best at the time what you have done, you are also often in a better frame of mind to do so.

In order to get an interview, you need a good, clear, well-written CV that shows you in the best light possible. However, most people's job is not CV writing and therefore we can all benefit enormously from expert support on our CV. And when it comes to going to interview, most of us are very rusty. Having a dry-run interview beforehand that is filmed, then analysed with you, can be very enlightening and help you get a high paid job; building up your skills in this area therefore can be a very worthwhile investment.

Our expert consultants have many, many years experience helping individuals develop their CV and enhance their interview skills to the max. They can help you find the right job for you, and prepare for it thoroughly to give yourself the best possible chance of success.

If you are prepared to invest money in enhancing your personal brand and would like to talk to one of our consultants, please fill in the form below and we will be in touch shortly. Please note this is not a free service should you wish to go ahead, is not suitable for school leavers and is targetted at managerial or higher level staff earning at least £35,000 who are looking to take the next step up the career ladder.
