Learning What UK Road Signs Mean

Posted by Theory Test [05 Jul 2010] | Category: driving | Business Press Releases

Learning what the different road signs mean isn't just a case of having to study them all in the highway code and memorise them.

There are various rules that apply, for instance with regard to whether the sign is in a circle, a triangle or a rectangle.

If you are already a driver then you should know what the difference between those three is, but do you?

And the colour also makes a difference: for instance a circle with a blue background is a different type of message to a circle with a red border around it, but again do you know the difference?

To see how many different road signs you know and to see what level of knowledge you have, why not use our learning road sign tool at driving theory test questions.

It contains a range of 50 different road signs for you to test yourself against and see just how well you know the road signs that you encounter daily as a driver on UK roads.
