The Hazard Perception Test
Posted by Theory Test [04 Jul 2010] | Category: Driving | Business Press Releases
The driving theory test comes in two sections - the multiple choice questions part and also the hazard perception test.
The hazard perception test requires you to view fourteen different clips and find fifteen different hazards.
You click when you see the hazard and the sooner you spot the hazard the better as you score more points.
So this means that to get the maximum marks you have to click in the highest scoring window for each hazard.
The marks range from 5 marks to 0 marks for each hazard that you spot with five being the highest score and if you don't click at all during the scoring window then you score none.
It is important to view some sample clips in advance because although the DSA do not release the actual clips in advance you can practice with sample clips and therefore get used to the process in advance of the test.
